I come from a fairly poor family, so not being able to get what I wanted had a big impact on me. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t have clothes or other essentials. At 5 years old, I was bullied, but I kept smiling. However, I had no friends; I was rejected by the world. So, I spent time with my brothers and sisters, although sometimes they, too, rejected me because I was quite excitable.

At the age of 6, I met my cousin, with whom I went hunting. He taught me how to shoot with a gun, first at targets, then at birds. One day, I hit a bird that had landed. It was injured, and to put an end to its suffering, my cousin decided to finish it quickly. It was at that moment that I began to change, and that change marked the beginning of a series of impactful events that continue to this day.
